guidebook
How well I remember my first day of teaching...
I felt so unprepared! What I wanted was a mentor -  someone who would help me  if  I made mistakes, or better yet, to give me tips so that I wouldn't make the mistakes in the first place. This site is my attempt to be that mentor to beginning teachers.

This guide book is divided into five chapters:

Chapter 1. Let's Get Organized
Getting all your ducks in a row before the big day

Chapter 2. Well, This is IT!
A sample first day to help you get started

Chapter 3. I Can Manage This
Tips on managing your classroom effectively

Chapter 4. They Did WHAT?!
How to make discipline work effectively

Chapter 5. What Did I Get on This?
Some suggestions to make grading easier

Chapter 6. Links to Some Good Sites
Here are some helpful links that you may enjoy

Chapter 7. Let's Hear from You
I would be delighted to hear your comments and suggestions
